Day 1: Itinerary
Cai Beo fishing village - Lan Ha Bay - Van Ta- Ba Trai Dao
8:00-8:30 am: A bus will pick you up from your hotel.
8:30 am: Upon arriving at Ben Beo Pier, you will board a traditional boat, which will be your main means of transportation for the day. Initially, we'll navigate through Lan Ha Bay itself, a place of extraordinary beauty, where imposing limestone formations majestically rise from the emerald waters. Your first stop is Cai Beo, one of the oldest and largest fishing villages in Vietnam. Explore the floating village to learn about the daily lives of the local fishermen and their sustainable way of life.
Our adventure endures, exposing myriad karst spires, each adorned with one-of-a-kind silhouettes, evocative of chopsticks and seals.
10:30 am: Our next stop is the unique village of Viet Hai, which is only accessible by water or 4h trekking from the National Park of Cat Ba.
This village nestled amidst the rugged landscapes of the island, offers a truly unique and unforgettable experience for everyone. There's no better way to see the village than to hop on a bicycle and embark on a thrilling journey of discovery.
Upon reaching Viet Hai, you'll be transported back in time as you encounter a traditional way of life that has remained largely untouched by modernity. The village is a tranquil oasis where locals live in harmony with nature, maintaining their age-old customs and agricultural practices.
12:30 pm: Return to the boat and savor a delicious seafood and fish lunch while you continue to cruise through the serene Lan Ha Bay. Take in the stunning scenery and relax on the deck. Vegetarian options are available. Refreshments, soft drinks, and beer are available for purchase as well.
14:00 After lunch, the cruise will move to several different islands, creating opportunities for passengers to have a midday break and sunbathe. In the afternoon, the cruise arrives at the beautiful Ba Trai Dao Beach, a renowned gem known for its tranquility and remote atmosphere. Here, travelers can relax and admire the pristine beauty of nature, especially during the breathtaking sunset views from the boat's deck.
18:00 After sunset prepare to be mesmerized as you set out on a captivating journey to witness the enchanting phenomenon of glowing plankton. As the sun sets over the tranquil waters of Lan Ha Bay, nature's own light show begins, turning the sea into a canvas of shimmering, bioluminescent beauty.
The waters come alive as you move through them, with every disturbance creating a dazzling, otherworldly glow. The magical effect is created by tiny marine organisms known as dinoflagellates, which emit a natural, radiant light in response to movement.
19:00 We conclude the first day of our cruise with a delicious, traditional Vietnamese dinner.
Day 2 Itinerary
Lan Ha Bay - Dau Be Island - Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Island
07:30 AM: Light breakfast, coffee and tea, then the cruise starts to visit Little Island - Mekong Cave - Ha Long Bay and its wilderness located in the UNESCO World Natural Heritage.
10:00 AM: Arrival at Dao Be Island in Ha Long Bay. Kayak to explore the fishing village and MeKong Cave.
12:00 PM: Return to the boat for relaxation. Enjoy traditional meals onboard and relax in the bay. After lunch, the journey continues to multiple islands, allowing time for rest and sunbathing.
14-15:00: We start our leisurely cruise back to the pier. Return to Cat Ba Town, a bus will drop you off at your hotel and that will conclude our time together. Guests are transported back to Cat Ba town center, concluding the Ha Long and Lan Ha Bay cruise.
